When it comes to learning how to find your own style in the art of paper floristry, I find it really helpful to see a whole array of different techniques and methods on how to make the same flower and feel that it opens up our creativity in ways we never thought possible. Every little bit of information helps on this paper flower journey and I'd like to put that all in one place. That's why the groups main focus is working on a specific flower each month and making it in different colors, materials and styles so we can explore and grow as individual artists.
Each month we will focus on the making of one to two specific flowers and explore multiple ways of making it. Each month will include 3 separate tutorials to cover the use of different materials and methods. Such as using crepe paper, doublette, cardstock or text weight paper, alternate ways of coloring the flower and/or different varieties of the same flower.
For example the month of March is the Sweet pea and Freesia! We will cover the Freesia, sweet pea and the pea pod! By the end of the month the amount of content will add up to well over a $80 value.
The goal of this group is to fine tune our techniques in using different types of materials so that we can take those steps and apply them in our own creative ways. Each month I will post an itinerary of when supply lists, tutorials and live videos will take place!

I have 8 years of paper floristry experience and am skilled in an array of different styles of paper flower forms from origami to botanical replication.
